Yesterday, I spoke at the NYC Bar Center for CLE on a continuing legal education panel for a group of immigration attorneys.  The panel was entitled, “Immigration Remedies Available Now: Are You Prepared?” I spoke about cancellation of removal.  I was one of seven speakers.  Sadly, the event was originally supposed to be about immigration reform.  However, when immigration reform did not occur, they invited me to speak about cancellation of removal.

I’ve been listed in the NY Metro 2013 edition of Super Lawyers.  I am listed on pages 50 and 104.  I was selected under the immigration attorney category.  I’ve been listed in the NY Metro Edition of Super Lawyers every year since 2008.  Each year, no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor.

I recently received a notice that I’ve been selected to be listed in the publication Best Lawyers in America.  Best Lawyers in America is a peer review publication.  According to the Best Lawyer website, lawyers are nominated for Best Lawyers and are then voted on by other lawyers.  I’m honored that my immigration attorney peers think so highly of me.
