Yesterday, I spoke at the Practicing Law Institute‘s continuing legal education program, “Basic Immigration Law 2015.” I spoke with Linda Kenespaske on a panel called “Inadmissibility and Removal Grounds and Procedures.” Among the topics that I spoke about were: (1) nuts and bolts of a removal proceeding; (2) bond, detention, and mandatory detention; and (3) post conviction relief. I like teaching basic immigration continuing education courses because I know that I’m helping new immigration lawyers to learn about practicing immigration law.
